Building with Purpose
FUNCTIONALITY
The current D & E buildings were originally designed for our children, but have not been used for that purpose for a while now. Because of this, the buildings have no purpose or function, which means there’s roughly 10,000 square-feet of unused campus space.
PRACTICALITY
The current D & E buildings need new roofing, air conditioners, and remodeling. Instead of spending money on the repairs, we are using that money for new buildings that will serve us better long term.
PROXIMITY
With The Hub, our weekly coffee & food prep will be much easier, since it will be at the center of campus. Currently the Community Center kitchen is being used on Sunday… which is out of the way and not super convenient for newcomers.
MANAGABILITY
The Venue will be our new 400 seat auditorium. This will make it much easier to manage both our blended and contemporary worship experiences as both worship teams will now have their own dedicated space.
CONNECTIVITY
The Hub seats up to 120 people, which gives people an indoor venue for regular community and fellowship. It can also be used for small receptions and other church events.
FLEXIBILITY
Currently on campus we have a 700 seat worship center and a 225 seat gymnasium. Having The Venue as well, which seats 400, will benefit us even more as our population continues to grow.
COMFORTABILITY
The new buildings will add an extra 4 new public bathrooms to our campus, which will help cut down on waiting times during larger church-wide events.
VERSATILITY
We host multiple events on campus each year with lots of people that attend. Having usable buildings at the center of campus with better sound systems helps us reach more people and more effectively.
USABILITY
We will no longer have to set up tons of umbrellas each week to avoid the heat. The new building will provide permanent outdoor shading, which will allow visitors to take their conversations outside if they’d like.
HOSPITALITY
We are building this with the future generations in mind. Those that came before us sacrificed for the things we have now. Let us do the same for the next generation.
